Chase Uribe, ASW

Hi! My name is Chase Uribe, and Iā€™m a Clinical Therapist and Social Worker. I provide therapy in-person at our office, in parks and nature settings, and via telehealth for clients throughout California. I offer therapy for children and youth (ages 7-17), adults of all ages, as well as couples and marital counseling.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTSD, suicidal ideation, and trauma. My practice is inclusive, serving diverse communities including LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, DACA recipients, immigrants, women, people with cancer, and professionals such as firefighters, law enforcement officers, and those in human resources.

My therapeutic approach integrates various modalities and techniques, including Person-Centered Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based and Empowerment approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Crisis Theory and Intervention, Motivational Interviewing and Enhancement, and Ecotherapy/Nature-Therapy. I also incorporate breathing exercises, guided imagery, art, and nature into our sessions. Additionally, I use religious and spiritual techniques based on the FICA and HOPE assessments.

I hold a Master of Social Work from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Human Resource Management from La Sierra University. My specialized training includes Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma-Informed Art, LGBTQ-Affirmative CBT, and World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) GEI Foundations and Transgender Standards of Care.

I am committed to being accepting, affirming, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. My goal is to be authentic, genuine, and real as I support you on your journey to grow, heal, and recover.
