"The truth is that falling hurts. The dare is to keep being brave and feel your way back up.” – Brene Brown
I am Dalila Sandoval, a bilingual clinical social worker proficient in English and Spanish, with over 20 years of experience working with children and families who have been exposed to violence, victims of child abuse/neglect, and those who have experienced the foster care system. Additionally, I specialize in crisis intervention, domestic violence, co-dependency, substance abuse, parenting, and trauma. I provide therapy for individuals, families, and children, assisting them in resolving issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, family conflicts, behavioral issues, self-esteem, stress management, and life transitions.
My focus is on facilitating healing through the therapeutic process by supporting clients in developing healthy coping skills, utilizing their strengths, building awareness, setting healthy boundaries, and allowing the time and space to heal. I employ an eclectic treatment approach, utilizing various modalities of treatment with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy.
My educational background includes a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, and a certificate in Social Work from Cal State San Bernardino. I am also a State Certified Domestic Violence Trainer and Breakthrough Parenting Facilitator.
I believe that we all face challenging moments in our lives, and I am committed to supporting you in a compassionate and caring manner.
