Deborah Cain, AMFT
I am Deborah Cain, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist # 152649 with a passion for
helping individuals navigate life challenges.
I completed my Master of Science in Counseling from Hope International University in
Fullerton California in May of 2024. Having many years of experience working with at-risk youth
and their families I can incorporate those experiences into the therapy process, with
mindfulness and coping mechanisms playing into the healing process.
I like to create a client-centered approach and supportive environment for each individual to
achieve their personal goals.
I use a variety of modalities such as Sand Tray/Play therapy, and Brain spotting. I am finishing
my EMDR Training in April 2025 and will incorporate that with my trauma-affected individuals.
I am always learning new ways to help bring about the healing process for all of those who enter
my office. Books on my Audible list are Play Therapy by Garry L Landreth, Finding Meaning By
David Kessler, and The Heart of Trauma By Bonnie Badenoch.
As an AMFT I work with adolescents and individuals as well as couples of a wide range of ages,
with varying mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other behavioral
issues.
Each individual who enters my space can be assured that I will always be honest, work hard to
find techniques to help, and create a caring atmosphere for healing.
