Herbert Tezeno, ACSW

A person of compassionate care, I lend an empathetic ear to hear the heart, mind, and spirit of those in need. My wealth of experiences spans across military service, spirituality, occupational therapy, and social work, culminating in a diverse skill set aimed at assisting individuals of all ages in reaching their next level of living.

As a proud 20-year United States Navy Veteran, I bring a focused perspective to helping my neighbors. My caregiving skills are rooted in my background as a former Navy Corpsman with specializations in Occupational Therapy and battlefield care. Recognizing that even the strongest individuals sometimes require a team to overcome new boundaries, I am dedicated to supporting military members of any status in improving their lives and relationships with family members. I employ an eclectic approach to guide them from dysfunction towards revitalization and success in various aspects of their lives.

With a calling in social work, I offer a holistic perspective that incorporates spirituality from a Christian-Faith-Centered standpoint to assist clients on their journey, should they initiate the need. Understanding life as an occupation, I acknowledge through my experiences and skills in occupational therapy how dysfunction can negatively impact the emotional and physical connection of individuals. Together, as a team, we will work towards regaining control from emotional and physical strength perspectives, ultimately paving the way for a better future.

I firmly believe that all people have value and deserve to be heard, uplifted, and validated. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to assist you in a warm, safe space without judgment, honoring your path of discovery and recovery.
